Laventum is an emerging 4-piece alternative rock band from Liverpool. Through carefully crafted lyrics, riffs, and melodies, they capture the sound of the late 90s and early 00s, all the while with an air of existentialism and cynicism. Laventum formed while at university and between the members draw from various backgrounds of music, with key inspiration for frontman David C Foster being Radiohead and Muse, naturally driving the sound towards these styles. A Laventum set traverses through various styles within the genre of rock as the band often fleets from confining to one specific subgenre, creating a set full of energy as well as emotion.
